What is a press brake?
A press brake bends sheet metal to the required angle by pressing it between an upper punch and a lower die. On CNC press brakes the backgauge and angle are set by computer, so even complex parts with many bends are produced with high repeatability.
Our bending services
- Bending in different thicknesses: accurate angles on thin and thick sheet.
- Multi-bend parts: boxes, channels, profiles, covers and housing parts.
- Stainless bending: die selection that protects the surface for mark-free bends.
- Prototype and series production: from a single part to high volumes.
Our bent parts are used everywhere from elevator cabins to industrial equipment, from trailer toolboxes to hopper bodies.
Laser cutting + bending in one place
The flat pattern is cut on our laser with the bend allowance calculated, then bent in the same workshop. This reduces the risk of dimensional errors, saves you dealing with two suppliers and shortens lead time.
How we control springback
Bent sheet springs back slightly when the force is released. We compensate the angle according to the material and thickness and make test bends when needed. More in our article: Springback in press brake bending: causes and solutions.
